Licensed roofing contractors in Georgia

Georgia has no statewide roofing contractor license. Check county or city licensing and permits instead; nothing below is a state credential. Georgia does not issue a roofing-specific state license. Roofers are classified as 'Traditional Specialty Contractors' — exempt from state licensing unless the job exceeds $2,500 on residential projects (O.C.G.A. § 43-41-17). Jobs above that threshold require a Residential or General Contractor license.
