License data

Roofer Registry republishes roofing contractor license records, discipline actions, and unlicensed-activity citations from state regulators. This data is republished as-is, with the source URL and fetch date on every record. It is not a certification, an endorsement, or legal advice. A discipline entry is republished as filed by the board; a Final Order is the board's decision, a citation is an allegation the board acted on.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the data current but do not guarantee completeness or accuracy. Always verify a contractor's current license status directly with the state regulator before hiring.

No recommendation

Roofer Registry is a directory. We do not recommend, endorse, or vouch for any contractor listed on the site. Inclusion in the directory means only that the state regulator published a license record for that person or firm. Claimed profiles contain self-reported information entered by the licensee, labeled as such.

Contact requests

When you submit a contact request through a roofer's profile, you choose the specific contractor. We deliver your request to that contractor and to no one else. We do not pool leads, route requests to multiple contractors, or sell contact information. Consent is recorded per the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

API and MCP server

The Roofer Registry API and MCP server are offered as-is for informational purposes. We may impose rate limits, modify endpoints, or discontinue access at any time without notice. API responses carry the same provenance and disclaimer as the website. No API key is currently required; this may change.

You may use API data to inform users, but you must not present it as your own certification or endorsement. The notice field in every response must be preserved or paraphrased when displaying the data to end users.

Statute quotes

Statute quotes on the site and in API responses are machine-verified against the official text published by the Florida Legislature at leg.state.fl.us. They are provided for reference and do not constitute legal advice. Statutes may be amended; check the official source for the current text.

Limitation of liability

Roofer Registry and its operators are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from reliance on information published on the site or returned by the API. Use the data at your own risk. Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid us, which for free users is zero.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site or API after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page.
